Spraypaint Text
This tutorial will teach you how to make ’spray paint’ style text! Pretty cool, huh?
1) Create a new default sized document with a red background.
2) Use the settings below to type something. I’ll type “Pwn0rz”.
3) On the layers menu, select your text layer and press the Flash icon (The black ball with the letter F on it). Select Outer Glow and use the settings below.
4) Take a screenshot of your workspace. Now create another document at the size of your screenshot and crop it so it only has your text and a bit of red like so:
5) Select the Magic Eraser tool and click the white parts of the text (click all the letters) and the red background.
6) Select your text layer and click Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur. Under Radius type in the number 2.
7) Draw a box around your text with the Rectangular Marquee tool, and press CTRL and C at the same time. Now open up the image you want to put your ’spray paint’ text onto in Photoshop and press CTRL and V at the same time. Position it and you’re done!
